This is a rough ASCII map of continental Great Britain. It excludes
a lot of the Scottish islands off the West coast. Furthermore, the
North-South scale is compressed in the North and artificially extended
in the South. One square East-West represents about 4 1/2 miles at the
North of the map, and about 5 1/2 miles at the South of the map. One
square North-South represents about 5 miles regardless of location.
The Scottish coastline is probably less accurate than the English
coastline.
